A vote of sympathy was passed with the relatives of Pilot Officer V. Raymond and Flight Observer D. J. McPherson, both of whom were former pupils of the school. The president’s annual report stated, inter alia: The membership was only 20 and new members would be welcomed, the fee being Is annually. It was hoped to provide the school with an up-to-date basketball court to provide greater educational facilities for the school children. The financial statement for the year ended April 30, 191, showed a credit balance of £29. Those who had so generously assisted the association during the year were thanked, especially Mrs H. Goodin, who had donated milk for the “500” evenings since the inception of the association; Mr J. M. Nicholls, who gave 16 packs of playing cards, the school committee who granted the use of the school for committee meetings, Mr W. Martin who audited the books, and the Press. The headmaster, Mr W.
