MAURICEVILLE
HOME GUARD LAST EVENING'S PARADE. . (“Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville unit of the Home Guard paraded last night. Platoon and rifle drill exercises were carried out, also P.T. instruction and games. The latter were appreciated by all men for the night was cold. Personal. Miss P. Nikolaisen has completed one week's special V./t.D. training at the Masterton Hospital. Flood Waters. The flood in local streams has considerably subsided during the past 24 hours. Much inconvenience was caused in tlie district.
