Inquest at Bideford. The District Coroner, Mr E. G. Eton, presided at an inquest, held yesterday afternoon into the death of the infant daughter- of Mr and Mrs lan Bunny, of Bideford. Alter evidence had been given by the parents and by Dr N. 11. Prior a verdict was returned that death had occurred from a fractured skull received by a fall.

Motorist's Death. Mr Richard Paterson, a salesman in the employ of Zip Heaters. Ltd., was found dead al the wheel of his car. which was parked in Wakefield Street, Wellington yesterday morning. His hands were still on Hie driving wheel, and the engine of the car was running. as though he had been about to start. The Free Ambulance was al once summoned. 'Mr Paterson, who lived at Island Bay. was about 45 years of age. and married, bul had no family. He had been in the employ of Zip Heaters, Ltd., for about seven years, and drove his own car in connection with, the business.
