SINGAPORE-SAN FRANCISCO. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyrighti NEW YORK, May 1. Pan-American Airways announced that the Civil Aeronautic Authority has approved an extension of the transpacific service from Manila to Singapore, beginning tomorrow, thus directly linking San Francisco and Singapore for the first time in history and also bringing the British naval base nearer to the United-States
