THIRD POWER AID TO CHINA ACCORDING TO JAPANESE NEWSPAPER. “FAVOURABLE INTERNATIONAL ' POSITION.” (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, TOKIO, April 30. The Nationalist newspaper "Kokumin Shimbun,” referring to the "eminently favourable international position” in which Japan finds herself, declared in a front-page editorial: “It is absolutely necessary to stop the aid to Chiang Kai-shek by Britain, the United States and other third powers, in order to settle the China hostilities.” The “Kokumin” claims that victory for the Axis is practically assured and insists that the situation demands an expansion of the drive against elements 'Of the old order in Japan and demands collaboration with Germany and Italy to establish the new order in East Asia.
