STAFF FAREWELL

MR.M. G. WING HONOURED. On Wednesday afternoon the staff of the local Labour Department and the Transport Department met to farewell Mr M. G. Wing, a member of the Labour Department, on the eve of his departure for the Wellington head office. The District Inspector of Factories, Mr N. Pelvin, in making Mr Wing the presentation of a leather attache case referred to the efficient and courteous manner in which Mr Wing had always carried out his work for the Department and wished him every success in his new position. Traffic Inspector W. G. Milne and Mr R. C. Jordan also expressed their appreciation of Mr Wing's assistance. Mr Win? returned thanks.
