GARMENTS FOR NAVY

ADVICE FROM ADMIRALTY. The Admiralty has informed the Navy League Office that the most ur-gently-needed warm garments for the North Sea are blue woollen pullovers with polo collars and long sleeves, length 24in., chest 40in., sleeves 22in„ and Seaboot, stockings, preferably of natural oiled wool, leg 28in. long (ribbing optional), foot 12in., calf Bin. across.

In addition to these, warm garments of all kinds and colours are gratefully received by the Navy League for the men engaged in duties off the New Zealand coast, and for young men going to Britain to join the Royal Navy and the Fleet Air Arm.
