TE ORE ORE

MEETING HOUSE DANCE FUNCTION LAST NIGHT. ("Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance at the meeting house, Te Ore Ore, last night, when the Home Guard unit and the Hockey Club combined to hold a social and dance. The Te Ore Ore Maori party gave an action song and songs were also contributed by Mrs Te Tau. Miss Nini and Mr G. Pura. All items were well received.

Music for the dance was provided free of charge by Te Tau’s Melody Makers. Mr G. Pura was M.C. Several novelty dances were held. Supper was provided by a committee of ladies from the Hockey Club.
