President Roosevelt has refused to reappoint. Mr Hugh Johnson, a former New Deal administrator, as a briga-dier-general in the Army Reserve Corps. In recent months. Mr Johnson. as a columnist and lecturer, has severely criticised President Roosevelt’s policy.
