ENGINEERING ADVICE

NEW BRITISH COMMITTEE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. April 29. Lord Hankey will be chairman of an Engineering Advisory Committee, to be set up to advise the Government on engineering questions connected with the war effort. The committee includes Lord Falmouth. Sir H. Tizard and seven other members.

The committee will first consider the resources of the engineering profession and nominate engineers, secondly suggest improvements in method, thirdly advise on new devices, and fourthly examine and test ideas and report to the Government.
