GLADSTONE
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE BRING AND BUY STALL. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the April mooting of the Gladstone Women's Institute a bring-and-buy garden stall was held to raise funds for soldiers' parcels. A programme for the next three months was distributed to members. Remits to come before the forthcoming Federation meeting were discussed and instructions given the two Gladstone delegates, Mrs Crewe and Miss Cooper. The president welcomed three new members. Mesdarnes Morgan and Norman and Miss M. Cooper. . The roll call —a recipe for an easy pudding—produced a variety of favourites. 4. A competition for a bowl of berries
and leaves was won by Miss A. Bubb and for tho best bloom by Mrs Joblin. Afternoon tea was in charge of Mrs Bradley and helpers.
