ENEMY SHIPS OFF COAST OF NORWAY BREST AGAIN RAIDED. BOMBS DROPPED IN TARGET AREA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.38 a.m.) RUGBY. April 23. An A.ir Ministry communique states: "During daylight yesterday an aircraft' of the Bomber Command made a low level attack on a heavily laden supply ship of about 2,000 tons off the coast of Norway. The ship was hit and left enveloped in smoke and steam. A mine-sweeper was also attacked and damaged. "Last night two attacks were made by aircraft of the Bomber and Coastal Commands on Brest, in which the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau are still sheltering. Bombs were dropped in the target area. “From all these operations one of our aircraft is missing.”
