CARTERTON
CHEESE FACTORIES PHENOMENAL SEASON RECORDED ("Times-Age” Special.) The splendid season so far as feed is concerned has been the means in the Wairarapa district of keeping up the supply of milk to the various cheese factories. At the present period all factories are making more cheese than has hitherto been the case. In fact, as it seems difficult to dry the animals off, and some herds are coming into profit earlier than usual, it is thought at present that factories may go on throughout the winter months. Of course this- may soon be altered when the spell of good weather breaks.
