KIATERE HARRIERS

SEASON OPENS ON SATURDAY. The official opening of the Kiatere Harrier Club is to be held on Saturday at the Epiphany Hall and it is hoped that all runners and supporters will be there in full force. Members of the Masterton Harrier Club have been invited to attend. A friendly run will be held, starting at 2.30 p.m., and this will be followed by afternoon tea.

Members and supporters of the Kiatere Club attended the official opening of the Masterton Club on Saturday. A friendly run of about 3 miles was held and all runners, especially juniors, were very keen and were well in the van.

The club coach lost no time in getting the runners together and gave them some sound advice at a training run held early in the week.
