MR HUGH J.’ WARD. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Obituary: Mr Hugh J. Ward, aged 69, one of the major figures in the Australian theatrical world. The late Mr Ward, who was well known in New Zealand, took a prominent part, some thirty years ago, in a campaign to raise funds for the Wellington Children’s Hospital.
