WOMEN’S DIVISION
MASTERTON BRANCH. WINNERS OF RAFFLES. There was a good attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Masterton branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union held in the Countrywomen's Club instead of the Rest Room, which was taken foi the practical examinations of the Home Nursing class. Arrangements were made for the annual meeting which is to be held or April 23. It was decided to hold a social gathering on the occasion with drama and musical items. Each member is requested to bring a possible member as a means of increasing branch membership. The delegate, Mrs W. James, appointed to the Dental Clinic Committee gave an account of the clinic activities Each member promised to support the work of the clinic in her own particular district.
The raffles for two pairs of stockings and a large plum cake were won by Miss Mary James and Mrs Barber and by Miss Ann Turner, Featherston, respectively. The usual shop day will be held on the first Wednesday in May.
