BOWLING

. PARK CLUB. VISIT TO BLENHEIM. Four members, Messrs A. E. Kilgour, W. Ferguson, J. C. Ewington and W. Higgison (s) worthily represented the Park Bowling Club at the annual Marlborough Easter tournament at Blenheim when 68 fours competed. The Park four were amongst the thirteen fours who qualified for post section play with seven wins to their credit. In the play off, however, they suffered defeat at the hands of the two finalists, J. Brackenridge (Cashmere) and Dr. Noble Adams (Picton). Brackenridge finally won the tournament by a margin of three points over his opponent.

The Park representatives speak highly of the hospitality extended to them and before leaving Blenheim they handed in their names as competitors at the next Easter tournament.
