GREYTOWN
HOME GUARD PARADES LAST NIGHT. (“Times-Age” Special.) The A and B Companies of the Greytown Home Guard paraded at the Crown Theatre and Odd Fellows’ Hall respectively, last evening. The training carried out was in connection with field signals, map reading and arms drill. The next parade will be held on Sunday at 10 a.m.
TOWN LANDS TRUST
ANNUAL ELECTION THIS MONTH. The annual election for two members of the Town Lands Trust will take place this month. Nominations will close oh Monday, 'April 28. . The extraordinary vacancy caused by the death of Mr H. Walden will also be filled at the same time.
RED CROSS SOCIETY
WEEKLY INSTRUCTION CLASS. The members of the Greytown branch of the Red Cross Society held their weekly instruction class last evening when Dr. Oakey gave a lecture on the brain. Personal. Mr B. Workman has returned home after having been a patient for several weeks in the Masterton Hospital.
