Price Control Criticised. A statement made by the New Zealand Federation of Drapers. The statement was made in conjunction with a summary of the financials position of the drapery and allied trades prepared by Mr J. L. Hay. It was based on information derived from a statistical report of 28 representative companies; the present trading position in New Zealand was reviewed and an appeal was made for a relaxation of the methods of the Price Tribunal in granting increases of prices.
