FLYING FORTRESSES
WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL PLANES NUMBER REACH BRITAIN. FOR SERVICE WITH R.A.F. A number of the very latest fourengine Flying Fortress planes have just reached Britain from the United States, a 8.8. C. broadcast reports. They beat all records of flying across the Atlantic and will shortly be in service with the R.A.F. They have a speed of 300 miles an hour at 25,000 feet.
