•At the Wairarapa Racing Club's meeting yesterday the principal handicap fell to The Monarch. Kindergarten won the Great Northern St. Leger at Ellerslie; Kentucky won the '"Great Easter Handicap and Blue Border, the Masterton horse, the Autumn Plate at Riccarton, and Alexcelia the Goodbehere Handicap at Feilding.
