ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY

ANNUAL MEETING TOMORROW EVENING.

The annual general meeting of the Masterton Orchestral Society will be held in the Savage Club rooms tomorrow evening at 8 o’clock when all interested are invited to be present.

The financial statement shows the society to be feeling the strain of war conditions but members are optimistic and determined to carry on. Weekly practices are held in the Savage Club rooms every Tuesday evening at 7.30 when the conductor and active members would welcome new instrumentalists to join up and share in the pleasure of and playing good music.

The Masterton orchestra has a creditable reputation and it is hoped there will be a good attendance of the public tomorrow evening to show its appreciation and help the orchestra in its good work.
