A TASTY PUDDING

FOR SUNDAY’S LUNCHEON. Line a basin with caramel made b;> cooking : i cup sugar with the juice o' •1 lemon until a golden brown. Before the caramel is set. stud the whole of the basin with seeded raisins. Allow it to set. Bring 2 pints of milk to boiling point and add 1 heaped tablespoon cornflour mixed with a little of the milk before boiling. Stir until thick and somoth, then simmer for about 4or 5 minutes. Remove from gas, add 2 well-beaten eggs, vanilla tc taste, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Pom into prepared basin and steam very gently for 1 hour. Turn out carefully and serve. This is a delicious light sweet, but it must be steamed very slowly.
