MARITBOROUGH
BOWLING TOURNEY WON BY MASTERTON RINK. (“Times-Age” Special.) A bowling tournament was held on the Martinborough green yesterday, when about 64 players from several Wairarapa clubs took part. It was ideal bowling weather, and excellent contests were witnessed. A Masterton rink comprising Messrs J. L. Hughes (skip), L. Thomas. E. Stevens and F. Davie proved the winners. Hearty cheers were given for the successful players, and the ladies who had dispensed refreshments throughout the day.
