AIR FORCE REPORT

NAZIS HARRIED AT MANY POINTS, MUCH DAMAGE TO TRANSPORT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.42 a.m.) RUGBY, April 11. A communique issued by the British Air Force in Greece states: “Extremely bad weather continued in the north throughout yesterday, but _ R.A.F. bombers and fighters were active. An enemy motor transport column was bombed near Bitoju and fighters machine-gunned trucks , and troops on the Bitoju Aerodrome, causing many casualties. Armoured columns on the road between Florina and Pilep were bombed successfully from low altitudes. Direct hits registered. on two large vehicles and another was seen to overturn and catch fire. Railway stores at Kenali. in Yugoslavia, were bombed and vehicles and troops machine-gun-ned. ■
