OBITUARY
MR E. R. N. MAGRATH. The death occurred at- the Masterton Hospital yesterday of Mr E. R. N. (Jack) Magrath, at the age of 64 years. The late Mr Magrath. who was the eldest son of the late Mr J. A. N. Magrath. of Carterton. and formerly of Paraparaumtt, had resided in Masterton for the last 30 years. He was in business for a number of years as a contractor, after which he. followed the timber industry. He was held in high respect, and is survived by his widow, three sons. Messrs Jack <Lower Hutt). Sergt. Arch (hospital ship Maunganuii and Keith Magrath (Christchurch) and two daughters. Mrs Andrew Torrance (Masterton) and Mrs Alex Whitcombe (Palmerston North). The funeral took place this afternoon.
