BIBLE CLASS CAMP
PRESBYTERIAN GIRLS’ ASSEMBLY PROCEEDINGS AT WAIRARAPA . COLLEGE. Members of the Presbyterian Young Women’s Bible Class Union numbering 143, from Wellington and the Wairarapa, are attending a camp at Wairarapa College. The party arrived in camp on Thursday night and will leave on Monday afternoon. In addition to study circles each day, many other activities have been arranged. Yesterday the Rev J. S. Murray, M.A., of Kelburn. gave an address on "The Cross,” and in the evening a pageant, “More Than Conquest,” written by Mrs R. Watson, of Ashburton, was presented. The 21st camp anniversary was celebrated at luncheon today when a number of visitors were present. This afternoon, when the camp was open to visitors, sports were held, while this evening a concert and camp fire will be presented. The theme around which the camp activities are centred is “The Whole Armour of God.” Mrs Fell, of Wellington, is the camp mother. J Tomorrow church services teiided and on Monday the giiflpwill enjoy a walk in the neighbourlfiod of Masterton before leaving for home in the afternoon.
