OIL DRILLING

OPERATIONS AT MORERE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, April 10. A bulletin issued by the New Zealand Petroleum Company reports that at the Morere oil bore operations for the recovery of a drillpipe are still continuing. The Midhurst well has been drilled to a depth of 6185 feet. The formation is hard, grey shale.
