GREYTOWN

CROQUET CLUB MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Greytown Croquet Club was held in the Park Pavilion yesterday afternoon, when Mrs H. Carter presided. Several accounts were passed for payment. It was decided to hold a J-hour afternoon on April 22. Weather permitting, the season will be closed on April 26. Personal Items.

Mrs L. D. Duff, of Taihape, is the guest of Mrs C. F. Duff, Main Street. Advice has been received that Mrs Nola Brady has been selected for service in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force, and will be required to report for duty at the R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Rongotai, on April 19. Mrs Brady is the daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Raison. McMaster Street. Her husband. Sapper A. J. Brady, died of sickness in Egypt.
