Byrd's Polar exploration ship The Bear of Oakland, arrived today, with 26 niembers of the United States Antarctic Expedition, who spent almost two years at Marguerite Bay. The motor-ship ' North Star, with 33 other explorers is on route io Seattle. The expedition had expected to remain in the Polar regions for six years, but Congress refused an additional grant.
