ATTACKS ON AERODROMES & TRANSPORT FRENCH AND SOUTH AFRICANS ALSO BUSY. DAMAGE DONE IN MANY AREAS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) RUGBY, April 9. A R.A.F. Middle East communique stales: "In Abyssinia, camps and other military objectives in the Gondar area were bombed yesterday and on the previous day by the R.A.F. and a Fr’ee French squadron. “An attack on an enemy aerodrome at Colbolcia resulted in direct hits on the aerodrome buildings, one of which caught fire. “South African aircraft carried out a succesful attack on motor transport in the Aselle area.

“In Cyrenaica, enemy . . landing grounds were bombed and; enemy motor transport and troop concentrations were attacked continuously. "From all these operations our aircraft returned safely."
