Middle East communique states: “hi the Balkans bomber aircraft of the R.A.F. continued vigorous resistance yesterday io enemy troops invading Greece and Yugoslavia. Heavy attacks were delivered against tanks, motor transport and convoys in the Alke-Doiran area. Bombs were observed to burst among tanks and vehicles on the roads between Strumica and Doiran and the bridge over the railway at Devdelija was damaged by direct hits.”
