RABBITSKIN MARKET
SALE AT DUNEDIN. PRICES FIRMER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, April 8. The Dunedin Stock Agents and Wool Brokers’ Association report that the prices ruling at the last auctions were reflected in the heavier quantities of early rabbitskins forwarded for today's sale, when approximately 43 tons were offered. The market was harder for all grades, small runners and racks showing an improvement of 3d to Gd a lb. with autumn grades up to 12d firmer. The improvement of quality would, of course, account for a considerable part of this rise. Top prices were 114 d for a small line of first late autumns, and 93d for first early autumns. Following is the official range of prices: Small, 531 d to 62d a lb; runners, 64d to 70d; light racks, 731 d to 76d; prime racks, 73d to 76d; summers, 67d to 69id; dawny autumns, 75d to 83d; early autumns, tlOJd to 93d; late autumns, 11 Id to 114 d.
Spring bucks, GOd to 73d; spring does, G2d to G7ld; milky, 64d to 65d; summer broken, GlAd to G7d; autumn broken, 69Jd to 75Jd; summer fawns, 57d to GOtd; autumn fawns. GGd to 63d; summer black, 61d to 62d; autumn black, 70.',d to 74d.
