RED CROSS SOCIETY ANNUAL meeting. ("Times-Age" Special.) The annual meeting of the Featherston Sub-Centre of the Red Cross Society was held last evening, Mrs G. S. Sharp presiding over a good attendance. , , , , . The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patroness. Mrs D. H. S. Riddiford; president, Mrs G. S. Sharp (reelected); vice-presidents, Mesdames Arch. Clark, Bloxam, Carlyon, McKenzie Bergh. Miss Goodrick; secretarytreasurer, Mrs J. E. Willett (re-elect-ed); executive, the vice-presidents and Mesdames Hardy. Cundy, Feast and Holland: delegates to the Centre, Mrs Sharp and Mrs Willett; auditor, Mr C. J. Ritchie. it was decided to form a rostei .0 work fortnightly. A fee of 2s is to be paid by students for each course of lectures. The lecturer’s fee will be 30s per course. It was decided- to organise bridge parties to pay for the cost of the floor coverings for the rooms, which are to be papered, while the roof is to be repaired. A vote of thanks was passed to the lecturers, Mrs Sharp. Dr. Sharp and Mr Willett. At the conclusion of the meeting supper was served, being provided by the president. Church Services. The services at St. John’s Church on Good Friday begin with a family service at 10 a.rn. In the evening there is to be a united service at 7.30 o’clock at St. John's Church, at which the Rev. J. R. Higgs and the Rev. R. S. Keenan will take part. Euchre Party and Dance.

At the euchre party and dance at the Kaiwaiwai ■ Hall, the prize-winners were Mesdames Mellish, Morgan, Tana, and Messrs A. Feast, A. Chisholm and Riki.
