April 3. , Chinese Central News Agency re- ' ports today state that the Chinese have I recaptured Swabue, 85 miles from I Hong Kong. The Japanese look ! Swabue on March 24 and the Chinese reoccupation occurred on Friday, when the Japanese, abandoning quantities of arms and supplies, fled to their warships. Japanese quarters'said the withdrawal was merely a Japanese practice of evacuating such points after goods had been seized and other objectives realised, but. when Swabue was occupied. the Japanese said it was a Chinese base for the transportation of supplies.
