CRICKET
Two very rare incidents occurred in a school cricket match in Masterton on Saturday. In pitching wickets, one was slightly sloping at the foot, leaving more room than usual. A ball keeping low went through without disturbing the bails. Shortly after one of the small cricketers secured the hat trick in the first three balls —one caught and two bowled. WAIRARAPA TEAMS.
