SERGEANT L. F. RYAN. Sergeant 1.. P. (“Pat") Ryan. R.M.Z.A.F., who has been admitted to hospital and placed on the seriously ill list suffering from shell wounds sustained in air operations, formerly resided in Masterton, where he was employed on the staff of the Public Trust. He was a well-known cricketer and athlete, lie played cricket for the Old Boys seniors, and for the Wairarapa representatives, being a splendid bat and fielder.
