POLAR AIRSHIP
SOVIET EXPEDITION TAKEN NORTH. FAR-REACHING SCIENTIFIC WORK. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a .m.) MOSCOW. April 4. A Soviet dirigible took off on April 2 on a Polar expedition. It has reached latitude 82 degrees north, longitude 180 degrees east, and landed on ice in the locality. The crew is commissioned to carry out far-reaching scientific work. Regular wireless communication has been established.
