OFFICIAL DESIGNATION
BATTLE OF CAPE MATAPAN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY. April 4. The great British naval victory in the Mediterranean is to be known as the Battle of Cape Matapan. It is authoritatively stated that Admiral Cunningham was consulted as to the name by which the action should be known to history and the final decision then was made by tlje Admiralty.
