EXPLOSIVE WORKS

ESTABLISHMENT IN NEW SOUTH WALES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, April 2. The Minister of Munitions, Senator Mcßride, announced that it has been decided to establish at a cost of several million pounds an extensive group of Commonwealth Government explosive factories near Sydney. Several types of explosives would be made at the factories on a large scale. Aircraft bombs, other types of bombs and grenades, and gun ammunition would be filled at the factories, which would employ about 15,000 people.
