RED STAR CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING LAST NIGHT. There was a large attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Red Star Football Club last night, Mr S. Henson being in the chair. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs A. Corskie, J. Fitzpatrick, L. Pearson and A. L. Paterson. The annual report and balance sheet were read and adopted. Six new members were elected. It was decided to enter senior, junior and, third class teams in the Wairarapa Rugby Union's competitions. The following were elected coaches: Senior team. Mr D. Stuart; junior, Mr C. McKay; third, Mr P. Prescott. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron. Mr D. J. Cameron; president, Mr A. Corskie; vice-presidents, Messrs F. Brown, B. Iveson, A. Gifford, C. C. Ross, E. R. Rogers, J. A. Betts, S. Gilman, W. Golder, G. Croll, J. Wing, V/. Darvill, R. Shackleton, P. Southey, L. Pearson, L. J. Taylor, Fred Clarke, S. Willoughby, M. Kerins, V. Pinkney, J. Donovan; secretary, Mr H. Golder; treasurer, Mr R. Milne; auditor, Mr A. L. Paterson; chib, captain, Mr N. Harding: delegates to the Wairarapa Rugby Union. Messrs S. Henson, R. Howard, and D. Stuart; management committee. Messrs J. Renner, P. Prescott, D. Stuart, B. Orsborn, S. Henson; social committee, Messrs?' C. Roys, R. Shackleton, J. Bevan, R. Thompson, J. Fitzpatrick, B. Orsborn. Mr R. Milne was elected a life member in appreciation of the services rendered to the club as player and official over a period of more than thirty years. Members spoke in eulogistic terms of the loyal service which Mr Milne had given the club, particularly as treasurer.

Among the members who have joined the club is Mr Ron Stewart, the ex-All Black. A vote of thanks to the chairman brought to a close a very successful meeting.
