German sources in Belgrade declare that an ultimatum will be presented to Yugoslavia as soon as the last German leaves the country. The secretary of the German Legation stated that the situation was desperate and practically hopeless. Herr Von Herren, German Minister to Yugoslavia, is en route to Berlin. M. Andrio, Yugoslav Minister in Berlin, has returned to Belgrade. A Berlin spokesman said Germany had shown unexampled patience and care in determining the facts regarding Yugoslavia, but those concerned must realise that there was an end to such magnanimity. “The Reich," he said, “cannot allow its prestige to be endangered when material events are on the march.” ! : *!®i It is confirmed in Berlin that Bulgaria has ordered a general mobilisation. The German news agency stated that Rumania had suspended oil deliveries to Yugoslavia. I The Berlin radio said that over a hundred German refugees had arrived jat Temesvar from Yugoslavia. “All,” it declared, “had stories of horrible experiences to tell.”
