* IN THE UNITED STATES. LARGE SUMS RAISED FOR WAR RELIEF. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON. March 30. The State Department has reported that private relief agencies in the United States have collected 26,816,000 dollars during the past six months for assistance to war sufferers, of which 18.000.000 dollars have been expended. The British War Relief Society is leading with 5,482,000 dollars.
