(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright! (Received This Day. 12.35 p.m.) ADELAIDE. This Day. The latest returns in the State elections show that Mr. T. Playford's Lib-eral-Country Party Government is almost certain of twenty seats, four more than in the last Parliament, which will give it an absolute majority. The state of parties in the new House will probably be: Government, 20; Labour. 12; Independent, 7. No Ministers lost, their seats. Two women candidates were defeated. The result of the election is regarded as a triumph for the Playford Administration, as it is the first time in twenty years a Government party has been returned stronger than on going to the country.
