order. "The enemy pressure continues eas of Keren, but' is hindered by our coun-ter-attacks. "An air formation repeatedly attacked a strong naval formation ir the eastern Mediterranean. One ol our torpedo planes, despite a violent anti-aircraft defence, succeeded in hitting a light cruiser.” GERMAN CLAIM AIRCRAFT-CARRIER BOMBED. (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON. March 30. A German communique states: "German bombers on the night of March 28 attacked a strong British naval formation west of Crete and scored three hits on an aircraft-carrier, despite a heavy anti-aircraft and fighter defence."
