BOMBER FLIGHT ACROSS I ATLANTIC. RECORD PERFORMANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright> LONDON. March 29. It can now be revealed that the first Liberator Bomber delivery flight to Britain created a record Atlantic crossing of under eight hours. The plane, piloted by a British crew, must have averaged more than 235 miles an hour' if tile ocean crossing alone is taken into account.
