CHURCH SERVICES

♦ A special broadcast service on Sunday morning, at 11 o’clock, will be held in the Salvation Army Citadel, Lincoln Road. The hymns,, addresses, singing of the Congress choir and massed bands playing will be produced by radio. This will be a unique service. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton. tomorrow. The Ven. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both in the morning and evening. The Rev. V. W. Joblih will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. In the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow, harvest thanksgiving services will be held. The church will’be open this afternoon and evening for thanksgiving gifts, all of which will afterwards be sent to the Children's Homes. Wellington. Services will be held at Mauriceville at 1.30 p.m., and at Opaki at 3 p.m. The Rev. R. Dickie will preach in Eketahuna at 7 p.m. The services of the Masterton Baptist Fellowship will be conducted tomorrow morning by the Rev. W. E. Lambert. of Wellington, and the Sunday School will mee’t at 10 a.m. in the Y.M.C.A. rooms also. Children not attending oilier Sunday Schools are cordially invited to join. At the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow, the services will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. At the morning service the subject will be "I'he World's Most Startling Prayer," and in the evening. "The World’s Most Astounding Promise." The service at Kuripuni will be conducted by Mr C. R. Goudge.
