The Wellington Trotting Club's meeting is being brought to a close today at the club's course at Lower Hutt. The weather is fine and there is a large attendance. The track is still dead but is much improved. Results are as follow: — RANDWICK HANDICAP. Two miles. 1/1 Jock McGrath, scr (A. Holmes) 1 5/4 Native Ruler. 12yds (Cameron) 2 2/2 Danzie Guy, 48yds 3 All started. Won by 12 lengths; three lengths. Bionfield was fourth. Time, 4.38 2-5. AUTUMN HANDICAP, 11m. 3/3 Nightbeam, scr (R. Donald) .... 1 2/2 Catalpa. scr (McTeague) 2 5/5 Recluse, scr (R. W. Townley) 3 Scr.—Shannon Lass. Kaulala. Serapeum. Won by 4 lengths; half. Time. 3.27 3ARMSTRONG MEMORIAL HANDICAP, Um. 3/3 Aspirant, 12yds (Watts) 1 1/2 Huguenot, scr 2 8/8 Toceetie. 12yds 3 All started. Won by narrow margin. Bold Venture was fourth. Time. 3.22 2-ssec.
