FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE
SERIOUS OUTBREAKS IN EIRE. LONDON. March 20. The spread of foot-and-mouth disease in Eire, where a number of fresh outbreaks are reported, has become so alarming that the Minister of Agriculture has appealed for public cooperation. failing which it “may become an epidemic, with catasliophic results. We are dealing with a desperate situation." he said.
