CROQUET TOURNAMENT
TN AID OF CARNIVAL FUNDS. The Masterton and Lansdowne Croquet Clubs had decided to hold a croquet -tournament in Masterton early this week in aid of the Queen Carnival funds but had to postpone it on account of the wet weather. It was decided at a meeting of the combined clubs to hold the tournament tomorrow on the Park greens, in which the players will bo attired in fancy or oldfashioned costumes. The proceeds will be handed to the National Patriotic Fund.
